Do I Qualify For CDPAP?
CDPAP Qualifications
For clients:
- CDPAP clients must be eligible for Medicaid
- CDPAP clients must have a chronic or ongoing medical condition
- CDPAP clients must require ongoing assistance with the activities of daily living (ADLs)
- CDPAP clients must be self-directing or have a designated representative who is willing to direct the client’s care per CDPAP’s requirements
For caregivers:
- CDPAP-qualifying caregivers can be a child, sibling, parent, close family member or friend of client
- Client’s spouse cannot qualify as a CDPAP caregiver
- Caregiver must be legally allowed to work in the United States
- Caregiver must be able to regularly provide skilled care and custodial services for client
